Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 2026 · operated by mailholes, a sole proprietorship in Washington, USA

This policy governs your use of mailholes and is part of our Terms of Service. We enforce it at our discretion, including immediate suspension or termination without refund, and we cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

What mailholes is for

Receiving email at disposable addresses for legitimate purposes: testing email flows, AI-agent and automation workflows, QA, and development.

Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Commit fraud or impersonation, or evade another service’s bans, KYC, or anti-fraud controls.
  • Receive or store illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (which we report to authorities and NCMEC), or content that infringes intellectual property.
  • Abuse third-party services or bypass their terms, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Operate or support phishing, credential harvesting, malware, or command-and-control.
  • Breach, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service’s security, rate limits, quotas, or tenant isolation, or access data that is not yours.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
  • Support unsolicited bulk messaging or other spam infrastructure.

Receiving only

The Service is for receiving mail at your disposable addresses. Do not attempt to use it as outbound or relay infrastructure. (Separately, mailholes may send you transactional account emails such as verification and password-reset messages; that is our own account communication, not a sending feature of the Service.)

Privacy of inbound mail

Mail sent to your addresses may contain other people’s personal information. You are responsible for handling it lawfully. Mail auto-deletes on a short retention schedule.

Reporting abuse & enforcement

Report suspected abuse to abuse@mailholes.com with relevant details (address, timestamp, message id). We may investigate, suspend or revoke keys, remove data, and report to authorities. We are not liable for good-faith enforcement of this policy.
